Find a friend with a stupidly loud sound system in his car, get him to park outside the house and blare his music for a few hours. Trust me man, theres nothing more annoying than 1000 watts of sub woofer power at 2am.

I've considered going outside and unplugging their power meter to disconnect their power and possibly taking the meter with me. That would put them out of commission for at least a day or so, but would not want to be caught doing that.

Also, since the office has already informed me that they will not evict tenants for noise violations, I've considered buying a cheap stereo receiver and large speaker to put against out shared wall and crank it up every day when I leave for work.

Any ideas on battling these irritants?

1. Call the cops. They do address noise complaints (at least in the DC area they do).

or

2. Go buy a house ffs. The market is frigging shit for sellers and the fed cut interest rates to 3% so you should be able to manage the 5% you'd most likely get from a lender.
