will Waffles or What do a freeleech anytime soon?

waffles had a freeleech some time ago, when i registered there.
what has the staff picks, but after 2 days noone is leeching them.

i hope these 2 sites do something new so that people start leeching, because 99% of the users are stack at some point and are afraid to leech anything

I wouldn't consider Waffles dead. I find good music on there all the time.

I think this is precisely the reason why they should not have a freeleech now or ever. A user shouldn't need a freeleech to fix their ratio, it's much easier to upload your own content and help the site grow. Freeleeches are much more appropriate for 0-day sites and other sites where there is little to no user created content.

Waffles has had about 4 or 5 free leeches since it started. I doubt they'll be having another one for a while.
