When you have people that want to access something, and you have a rule that they must have X amount of posts in order to access it, those are they type of posts you end up with. The same thing happens everywhere that type of rule is in place.

True, and I think I've stated the same on another thread recently. However, this forum is very big (not to mention that apart from the 20 posts, you must wait 15 days after registration to get full privileges), so it really wouldn't be that hard to make 1-2 helpful posts a day (instead of "thanks, thanks, thanks") and get there. It kind of boggles my mind :dabs:
You're right, it's certainly not a hard thing to do, but some people, for whatever reasons, just aren't willing to even try. They're only here for one purpose, and participating in a forum is simply the means to that end. The ironic part is, if they actually took the time to write meaningful, semi-coherent posts, they'd probably be much more successful in achieving what they're looking for.
