When you lose all your passwards

Or you have only one username and password for every site, tracker, forum you're on...everybody can remeber 1 username and 1 password...or not? :)

Why don't you use Foxmarks extension for Firefox. It saves your bookmarks and passes online (password protected ofc). So when you reinstall windows/linux you just install foxmarks to firefox and you have all your bookmarks and passes again ;)

Firefox remembers my passwords for me... and i have a backup of that file.

have at least 2-3 usernames and passwords your familiar with and work it out with trial and error

Definitely not this. You can't trust gmail.

You can use FEBE for make a back up of your profil, pw etc..
