I've had one in my PU account for several months now and haven't lost it yet. Now, what is TL's definition of active? Is it being active within the community, active in dl and seeding, a mix of all of the above? If it's simply dl'ing and seeding actively I'd probably be more willing to share my invite if I can pretty much get another one at some point.
I really don't think it has anything to do with the amount of activity you have. I've been there almost two years, and have downloaded under 50GB(really only use the site for getting files that other trackers don't have, I don't feel too comfortable downloading from there since so many members there have gotten letters from their ISP for downloading from the site), and have only posted maybe a total of three times in the forums. I do log in everyday though and comment on everything I grab.
But still, I'm not the most active on the tracker. So randomness is the only thing that the invites there go by I think.
there is no real rule.
PU used to get upto 4 invites every sunday, but that was a while ago.

Im VIP in TL, and every month i have 4 invites. If u know a friend is PowerUser there, he can invite you ;)
