Well they are certainly cheap. Yes you need an account - relatively cheap if you are only buying small amounts

That seems too much hassle. I'll just go buy a car at the car auction and sell it on.

Yes other commodities can be a good bet. Antiques were the thing last recession. It is all in perceived value and where it is likely to go.

A gold mine is good too.
