Why do bittorrent trackers exist?

Bittorrent trackers exist because people created them. People created them because people tend to form centralized communities out of convenience.

This was by the fair the funniest/saddest thing that I have read in a while.
I'm going to print this out and anytime I start thinking that I'm cool for being a mod or being on such and such a tracker I will look at this, see the true face of bt and regain perspective.
