Theres no way in hell anyone's going to fall asleep in lotr return of the king, read the book and you'll learn that its pretty steady action across the whole thing.

If your a big fan of LOTR,and you've watched the previous two or read the book,then three hours will seem to just go quickly.

Just because of all the excitement and tension you're so much into the movie that time just flys.
