You haven't seen my "real" family. It's far easier to explain why my parents (in the photo) are of different race, then it is to explain my "real" parents. :(

very nice to see...but are polk speakers any good?

The Polks are quite to my satisfaction. The value was fantastic, and they just sound nice. I would rec them (and the receiver) to any friend looking for a full 7-channel system without taking out a bank loan. Honestly, if a friend were thinking about spending more, I would make certain they realized the diminishing returns of spending more.
