Re: For all us non-traders...
Agreed mjmacky, didn't mean to sound like that it was cheap or easy. Just know through the grapevine that was what they were looking for. Also, if memory serves me correct, you needed to prove you were good for getting the WEB-DL's ($XX on the account so that they knew you had the monetary means to obtain the files). And I know from experience that encoders mean nothing if they have no sources to encode from :P
Re: For all us non-traders...
Hmm, was that me? I wasn't thinking so, I'd never be caught dead buying from a store or using a device that started with a lower case 'i'. The only source I don't have are captures, so my fishing campaign was to find a place where I could work with some caps. But yeah that web.dl shit costs some serious money (tv shows), so you've got to be pretty dedicated financially. Also, the typical web-dl does not involve an encoding step.
Re: For all us non-traders...
Yeah, meant to put in the HDTV cappers also. That's my oversight. Pretty much a slam dunk if you have a US HDTV Cable stream+ FIOS hookup :P

How about you stick it up your arse, you condecending fuck.

It's nice to know that in a system supposedly based on unbiased sharing that there is still room for a class structure .
I wonder if anyone "active " on Demonoid ,selflessly maintaining a positive ratio for no purpose other than they see it as the right thing to do is ever so blessed? Or for that matter anyone posting religiously and intelligently in the forums of site like Bitsoup or the equivalent.
No? Didn't think so. Instead it's much more likely to have people with limited sense of loyalty and language but time to spend on irc ( I actually just saw an application form from a supposed Emergency Room doctor on FSC saying that he was basically on irc 24/7 at work and at home ) and money to foolishly invest in a server granted access.
Maybe I'm missing the point entirely but I don't see where the "respected" part necessarily factors in here?

There, there. Keep at it and I'm sure that someday you will be able to spell condescending correctly too. :)

Seems to be a lot of that going on lately .Probably you posted something that wasn't on-topic or politically correct enough in this thread of great importance.
God, I mean whatever higher power you choose to either believe in or not, forbid that everyone couldn't simply look past anything you said that they might not like /agree with /understand .

Not me, it was physically removed so no way to get it back, that's odd, if I remember correctly there was nothing justifying a deletion whatsoever...

What do the members of FST suggest?
You are too late ... the ship has sailed ... if you would have been here 2 or 3 years ago access to these trackers was far more easy.
But since the 'asking'-side has become so much bigger than the 'supply'-side access has been limited to nearly-immortals only.

Plus one. The term "non-trader" is as silly as "anti-trader", really. If you don't break trackers' rules, there's no need to stick a label on yourself for everyone else to know that. And many people actually do it to get those l33t tracker invites, as it's been mentioned in this thread and countless other ones.
Also, "non-trader" may actually make it sound like trading is the way to go, and that you chose not to follow it, to less experienced people.

I know it wasn't you, KF. Your name never comes to mind when stuff like this occurs. :)

1.) Find similar/same content on other trackers.
2.) If you need to talk to members of those sites, chances are, you can find them here on FST.
3.) Find other, more valuable things to worry yourself about.
These are not necessarily in any order.
I apologize to anyone who finds this post too controversial. :blushing:
