As for the mobo,why not pick up this one .It is only 109 and has the Nforce2 chipset also.
Okay, how is the mobo that johnboy mentioned compared to either of the ones i said, i know it is a lot cheaper, but apparantly it is a good mobo. unfortunatly i am not advanced enough to tell for sure.
thanks for your opinions guys, there are some good facts behind both boards, it's a tough choice, since it is just a simple pc, i think i may go for price, if both would do fine.
The A7N8X-X doesn't have the SATA drives support or have gigabit lan capability of the A7V600. But it seems unlikely from your other components that you need either of these, and the NForce2 chipset is certainly supposed to be better.
The A7N8X Deluxe has SATA, dual lan, Dolby sound, Firewire. It's a lot of money to pay if you don't need these facilities.
