I just use it to create virtual encrypted drives rather than encrypting actual drives.
It will create virtual drives up to 4Gb or something else. Then store them on a USB device, along with the software itself, to decrypt them when needed.
So as long as the things you want encrypted aren't bigger than 4Gb it works a treat.
