I'm pleased but I'm aware that in the grand scheme of things it's not all that significant outside of my own little bubble. I also know that a close working relationship with the people in question has a lot to do with it. I'm a technician: a good one, but rarely required to inject my intellectual expertise to the process. This lab seem to want to draw upon it. I cleared up a few of their questions, came in early, stayed late a bit, suggested some ways to do things, that sort of thing. I didn't write any of the paper, I just read it over before it was sent off.

That sums up my first publication as well, the one working on the project, who I was assisting, wrote it, then I rewrote it. He was Chinese, but we ended up making a thing out of it with explaining all the nuances of English language. 'Twas fun, I remember explaining to him what eating out was :smilie4:

We uses to play psychoanalysts as kids and everyone always argued over who gets to be Jung, that being said, I'm Jung.
