I win the bet with myself as to whether or not some cretin would follow up my post with a Cujo clip.
You alone are excused though because Stephen King.

Ohhh... see there, I was just going for deliberately obtuse.
Pretty good list.Better than most although in retrospect Enter the Dragon isn't anything to write home about. If you are going to include something form Bruce Lee then there are certainly better ones to pick from like when he fights Chuck Norris or from Fists of Fury when he fights the Russian.
Personally although otherwise from a kind of shit movie, I think this certainly deserves a place on the list for how well it's choreographed, how well it's shot, how in your face it is and certainly in terms of this thread for how violent it is.

Stop. Hammer time...
As for the Bruce Lee scene, it still stands, and I would love to see what he could have become (which gives it a mystique). The parts that are incredible are owed to him alone. It is dated, for sure, but i think that is largely due to writers and directors not knowing what to do with him, or what could even be done in the genre. I would not give it the #1 spot as there are too many other great scenes now.
This scene from Bone Tomahawk was brutal. I never imagined Kurt Russell in a movie like this, and when I started watching it I didn't expect it to end like it did. :noes:

When they killed John Wick's dog. John regains consciousness to find his dog(Daisy) had crawled up to him before its last breath
I haven't really felt put off by a movie scene since I was a child. The only one that got me at that point was the opening scene of Robocop when the group of criminals have captured Murphy and execute him. The part with the hand and the immediate moment after that when he was walking around holding his hand made me skip that part of the movie for years. Now it has no effect on me but at the time whew.
