As for replacing the card, fill out an RMA form online through newegg, its over 1 month, so u cant get a refund, but you can send it in for a replacement. Just package it all up in the box u got it in, hope u kept it, including all cables cd's etc, put the RMA number on the front of package, ledgibly, and mail it off to their place.
Just hope they take it seeing as how you removed the heatsink/fan.
If you removed the heatsink fan then you voided your warranty, bigdawg. The 9700 Pro has a rather strange attached heatsink, and I am pretty sure that they wil notice. I think it overheated after you removed the heatsink. Is that the issue?
