Yes...its alot like Hitman 2.
The graphics are pretty much the same, with enhanced textures.
*SPOILERS*
But what pisses me off is that its really short and the whole thing feels like a prelude to a 4th Hitman game (which is already confirmed).
At the end of the game, it seems the people that run "The Agency" were trying to set them up, tipping off one of the Hitman's targets, expecting the Hitman to assassinate him. Agent 47 didnt realize that his hit was expecting him and 47 was shot, nearly dead.
So the game opens up with a wounded 47 struggling to find a safe place in a building and passes out.
Throughout the whole game, you relive past hits, thus, most of the levels are from the first Hitman game. When you start playing the current mission instead of the past missions, you're already at the last level. Its really easy to beat too....all you have to do is get out of the building, kill some guy, and escape; the game is over. There isnt a plot and neither a climax in this game; the last level doesnt even compare to Hitman 2's final level, in which you have no weapons, have to get back to your shed to retrive them, and take everyone out in the chapel, which was exciting. There are no real exciting moments in Contracts, since nothing is really new and there are few levels with only a few missions each level.
The game ends when 47 leaves Paris on a plane, while Dianna could be barely seen sitting behind him while they discuss being setup by their employers.
As I said, this feels more like an expansion pack or a prelude to a better Hitman game than an actual sequel.
For 50 bucks, its a rip off.
