ther is one way to fix it.
I did this EXACT same thing u just did like 3 nights ago lol.
after a bit of googliing i found a site which showed a bunch of PID (product ids) which SP2 has black listed. It said which ones are safe to use, what keygen to use to produce a safe key, and how to change them etc.
I will PM you the one i changed too and windows update 5 now works and i have also installed SP2 beta build 2162 (which i must say is a huge improvement over RC1) without any problems at all.
could you pm me the url addy for where it shows blacklisted pid's as well. thanks :) [/b][/quote]
