Old Willie Wigglestaffe had some good moments - you just have to think Tudor (not Ten Pole Tudor :nono: )

However, there are pieces that are a little less work and perhaps more fun. Many of the Restoration comedies are certainly more entertaining.

Reading is a pleasant way to spend an hour or two. Recently, I found Bill Bryson's "History of nearly everything" rather good.

Gemby, the ability to understand English and use it fluently is essential for many jobs. One only has to look at the number of signs in shops and the erratic use of apostrophes to understand why more people should be studying the subject not less.
