it's better to read about html first so you know what your doing

Dude, I was told to dl a template then edit it then arrange it to the way I like. What am I doing wrong?

no m8 you edit the html files with wordpad or with a program like dreamweaver.
the thing you can edit with photoshop are probably the images that belong to the template you was gonna use.
