Nah, 100 x 100 is fine, I would'nt think there would be any problems as long as the file size is kept down, having said that it could be made that we upload our own, therefore not harming the db in any way.
File size could still be kept the same, 100kb is fine, always has been.

i was just saying that it could be that big before it disrupts the board's layout.

IKE you can just set the max avatar file size to 100kb or maybe 70kb or something. :)

@Rosco...... That's as maybe but personally I've been to forums that have them set to 150 and it just looks wrong :ermm:

Most boards I have seen use 100x100..which is fine..anything bigger just lloks awkward...buut..how long must we debate this..just do it
