thats pretty cheap - i pay $15 = £8 (yours is about £5.50) for newshosting, with a little more retention

Xpat is like a form of searching usernet, i think one of newsleechers searches use it. If your newshosting company doesnt support it then some programs won't be able to search. The reason why some disable it is because it uses massive ammounts of the servers CPU.

ah right, like the newsleecher "standard" search, where you pick out a couple of groups and search them..cool

Hmm, looks like I might have to try a month or two on that server soon. Using NewsHosting now, it's GREAT though, might not switch, already got a good thing...I'm doing about 450-500GB a month from them and they haven't said anything as of yet, so... :D
