i was gonna say people>dogs but these guys are dicks (just from quote, fuck the vid)

strangely i'm not bothered about the dog's welfare as much as the owners. these dogs that people will make a sport out of shooting will be guard dogs, hunting dogs and plain old companions.

I am bothered about the dogs' welfare, but I sense you are correct as regards the progression you describe.

People who don't care often aren't too particular about what they don't care about.
