You played a more powerful team to a stalemate which in itself is considered a win.
That more powerful team should have kicked the other's ass.

Not to lose is a win if the likelihood of winning was next to 0. So while a win would the bestest in da hole wide wuld and tie is good too 'cause you didn't lose...and uh...they couldn't beat you.
