Server Issues
As most of you will be aware we are experiencing many server and DNS issues at the moment, so we have decided at this time to take this oportunity to move to 2 new and more powerfull severs which will give the site a better performance in the future.
So unfortunately there will be a little more downtime to come, but it should be the end of it once the move has been completed and the new DNS updates
The planned time for the move is sometime tomorrow (thursday) and once the new servers are online we will update the DNS.
This will mean that all of you who have previously edited your hosts files, the site will eventually stop working for you once the DNS has updated for the new servers (your hosts files will be pointing to the wrong IP).
All you will need to do is once the site stops working, remove any reference to Torrentbytes from your hosts file and sit tight until the DNS has updated fully.
To check your hosts file you will find it located here: C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
Just open it with notepad and if you find any reference to TB remove it and then save

i updated my host and i still get the "update you dns" message

We are currently being DDoS'd, which is why the site is running slowly :-/
We are able to keep the site running as smoothly as we possibly can for the time being (slow at times but we are still up and running) until these kiddies get bored and go away to get on with the rest of their lives.
They are being DDOS:ed by someone, probably angry sceners or something, and i depends from time to time if i can connect to the site.
Works for me now....

its back up now
been up most of the past few days.
yeah the same as ST :).But now it's back again ;).
It works perfectly for me too.
TB is still not loading for me.
Any ideas?
