tvt.ro alternative for bitmetv
i prefer bitmetv but the content is almost the same!
I just want the content. The content is what matters.

I remember seeing 3 identical threads before.
bitmetv is by far the best. im sure all the users who are on both sites would vote for bitmetv because the content is far superior. its just a little hard to seed back thats all.

both trackers are good but I have to go with bitmetv :)
Well... I upload a lot in BitmeTV and download a lot in TvTorrents :huh:
That is to say that if you are just the regular TV show user TVTorrents is more than enough. They have all the running shows with packs from previous seasons. Torrents are well seeded and the speed is more than acceptable.
IMHO it is a fantastic tracker.
It is very underrated ( no, I'm not talking about levels so don't start ). The truth is people tend to have this bad opinion about trackers in which it is relatively easy to get in as opposed to trackers that might be a piece of garbage but in which it is hard to get in.
I remember lots of people saying they didn't like Demonoid... :blink: Sure, it was slow but I found stuff there that I never found in any other tracker. But as it was semi-public it had to be worthless of course.
Having said this BitmeTV is an awesome tracker! It has some great content. It releases stuff that is not released on TVTorrents but if u r talking of mainstream shows you shouldn't need it. Also, it is difficult to seed there and torrents tend to die faster than in TVTorrents. Hit and runners are a plague ( staff is always after them )and documentaries, for instance, are very hard to keep alive. It is my understanding so far that after a day or two, if it isn't for the uploader, they are left with no seeders. On the other hand it has a fantastic community. I love it there.
In the end, and in my case, I have different purposes for them so I wouldn't vote for one or the other.

First I like BitmeTV the best. Availability and speed.
Second, I need my access back but I cannot log in (banned for?) I have tried IRC but since I am using a public wireless point (for 2 more months)and I think it blocks the IRC. What I am begging for is someone to ask a Mod for me: Why? If it is due to inactivity, I have been learning German for the past 9 Months. That might seem like a lame excuse but the material that I am learning is that what would normally take 3-4 Years in a University. With that said, I have had very little time to participate but I did ensure that I had a good Ratio prior to school.
Will someone please try to help me?

I have both and I actually prefer TVT - has all I need and easier to keep a good ratio there than on BitMeTV. BitMeTV is great of course, I just tend to use TVT more.
TVtorrents doesn't have Craig Ferguson...amongst other shows + layout is much more appealing, and they do have more shows and more seeds.
i used both and in my opinion both are very good but speed of bitmetv is better than tvtorrent. The older collection of bitmetv is much better than tvtorrent.....

BitMeTV gets shows a lot faster, and has some internal guys....
But TvTorrents isn't that bad, either. They have a wide range of content, and a LOT of users... which means more seeders :)
I have both, and I prefer BitMeTV, but I wouldn't go crazy if you only had TvTorrents.

I think a combination of both is not a bad idea. But if one doesnt have the other, I think for popular shows, one isnt going to miss much if any. Another way to look at is that some people become loyal to a site and they stick to it.

i have only TvT.ro and I am so happy, I still find what i want..

and they are very cool
not like bitmetv staff
i like tvtorrents cause it's easy to seed and buil you ratio
but bitmetv even with a seedbox it's hard
when i had both TVT.com and TVT.ro i did some tests and realized TVT.com>TVT.ro
in TVT.com i can find everything i can imagine, full speed and everything is great.
im not a collector so i don't need bitmetv when i have tvt.com.

TVT.com have content and speed , TVT.ro have good design and easy to find anything .

i have to say bitmetv!! content maybe almost same but seed to leech ratio and speeds at bitmetv beats tvtorrents by some margin.
I definitely like BitMeTV better in terms of layout/interface and organization, but for my purposes (occasional TV downloader, mostly current/recent stuff) TVTorrents fills all my needs and I've found it easier to keep a good ratio there. In fact, I don't really need my BitMeTV account anymore and wouldn't mind trading it for another level 5 tracker that would be more useful to me...
i just downloaded both season of hannah montana at a much faster rate on tvt than on bitmetv. in fact, bmtv was so slow that after 2 hours i just said fuck it and stopped the torrent alltogether. unfortunately the one at tvt was not the same so i had to download the whole thing all over again but like i said....much faster.
generally speaking though bitmetv is faster than tvt. it also has a MUCH more active community and the staff is very friendly there as well. bitmetv will provide you with a better overall tracker experience whereas tvt just has content and good speeds
tv.torrents.ro is the best site i've come through for a nice collection of the tv spec's
Bitmetv must be better,but it's really difficult to get in,so tvtorrent can be a good alternative for those who don't have an acc in bitmetv.
I use tvtorrents.com+tv.torrents.ro+thebox+bitgate and it's enough for me!:-)
bitmetv has great download speeds but NOT as easy to upload back as tvtorrents .
I find keeping upload credits at tvtorrents is much easier
