jepp PES is much better than any fifa; the game play, the movement and the ball physics are great

From the very start of this game war ive always been a pro evo man.
But that was until Fifa 2008, i reckon this game is fantastic, i actual feel like im in the game when im playing its so realistic and the game engine is fantastic, albeit still a little slow.
Pes 2008 on the other hand is fast flowing but doesnt have the slightest bit of realism at all, it looks like a cartoon the players look like total idiots when they run, the goalkeepers on the computer team do not move off the goal line and you cant choose how powerful youre cross is. These are just a few of the reason why im now a converted fifa fan.

It's depending .. if you talk on PC so there is no doubt that FIFA 2008 is better then PES
but if you talk about PS2 , the PES it better then FIFA 2008 .
i was a fifa fan but since 2002 when fifa made big change in the game i prefered PES till know.

I would definitely say PES because FIFA is some kind of joke that pops up each year and actually does not bring any particular news.
However I'm not a sport games fan so not that I care that much ^^

PES for me too, although I needed some time to start liking the 2008 Version. But the reason for that is I played PES6 for too long :D

i'll go for pes, but i'd like a combination between those two, the pes gameplay and the fifa campain mode with all those tranfers stuff, increasing price tickets and the other fun stuff

i can't believe that anybody in earth prefers Fifa08 to any version of pes,
Fifa's gfx r crap, very bad style of game, and it ALWAYS have some bug to let u score easily.
pes have better gfx and it's competitive..
PES is amazing...
I actually used to play FIFA from 96 to 2005/6 but the 2007 and 8 version just seems to be to childish. Mainly i played fifa because of the career modes but they just dont offer enough anymore. The interface just sucks as well because its just a port of console versions.
So i switched to PES08 now, only disapointing of it is it never had a career mode.
pes is the best but since they don't make big change and that fifa at least have a gestion of the player and the ball separate the choice begin to be hard!!
