i use Secure Login for ff3 and erase stored passwords every time ff closes. Probably there are more secure ways but its more about convenience for me.

I use long random passwords with 1Password, that way I can use them on OSX, Windows, Linux and on my iPhone.

Re: Do you use different password for different bt site?
I use same password everywhere, including fst. Why would I use many different? :S
It's easier to just remember one easy password :)

i use different passwords almost everywhere.
for those who wants to replace their old .txt, you can always use a password manager like this one: http://www.codeaero.com/password-memory/

I do know 1passwd for Mac is secure as hell... anti-keylogging, auto-lock, 128bit AES, master password etc... Probably the best and most essential web app for the Mac.

+1 :D
AI RoboForm has been around long before Firefox started storing passwords. It also allows you to encrypt your passwords so you will only have to remember one password by heart.
After you sign in you it allows you to use single sign on which auto directs you to the website and fills in the password (Unless the site is secured by captcha)
I just run auto backups on the passwords folder so its all safe but you can also use it with a flash drive to connect anywhere...

Re: Do you use different password for different bt site?
I think I have various passwords, I wouldn't know now since Firefox memorizes them.
-
Re: Do you use different password for different bt site?
until it updates, may erase them? best to write them down or at least your email password.

Re: Do you use different password for different bt site?
Keepass being used here. Never 2 same passwords anywhere.
Great application, generates very strong passwords that can under no circumstances be brute-forced. Portable, leaves no trace anywhere. When copying the password it only remains in memory for 10 seconds, database is secured by one master PW.
I keep the db stored on my HDD and somewhere online too. I have never had any problems anywhere.
