My favorite release this year has been DeathSpank. (The Creators of Monkey Island) It's a mix between diablo style fighting with classic rpg humor.

The Great Expedition is a new game just published at TGC. It is a fine mixture of strategy and adventure. The basic principle is a competition for final destination.
