For me was the very first GTA back in 98. Then evetually got into burning my own games in 2001 very first personal burned game was NesterDC for Dreamcast.

And since I'm guessing that does show my age, it was a dos WWII sub game, that I seem to recall being a "check page x word y" type protection, but I could be wrong. If it wasn't protected, then Wasteland would be the first.
