if there was ever a forum that had a strong need for the 'thanks' button mod .. it's this one.. I realize people need to get their post count up to get to the invite section but it's a pain in the ass reading the same sites posted over and over again (better than not posting them at all though) and the 'thank you' posts.. I'm not saying people shouldn't appreciate the work of others.. but the 'thank you' button mod would allow the same gestures without lighting up the thread constantly and then realizing there is no new substance..

I've come across lots of times where having a site like this would've been extremely helpful - not only do I intend people to share ebooks, but college software, book accessories (dvds/cds), lectures in audio/video formats, solution manuals, and all other manner of class materials (essays, reports, etc..)


I know I'm willing to share what I have, and I hope that others would be too - this is one area that companies will continually siphon people's money from, and quite frankly if I had access to ebooks I would never purchase hard covers unless absolutely necessary.


So if you're interested in sharing some edu materials, stop by and join up. we have a baby population, and the tracker itself is fairly new and hopefully there arent too many problems (let me know of course). I will be trying to keep up the maintenance myself until I can get help from other people.
