Use NOD32 antivirus
kaspersky pure is best for me
Please don't use AVG free it's a resource hog and IS NOT proavtive and doesn't have a firewall. I now use Kaspersky. Trend are also very good as is Norton (it's not the crappy piece of bloating junkware it used to be so give it ago)
Kaspersky internet security 2011 with free for life license. Here how to hxxp://www.techno360.in/kaspersky-internet-security-2011-free-for-life/

kaspersky and Quickheal are the best anti virus software...
Avast hasn't failed me yet.
Idem, avast
Bitdefender is pretty solid
AVG is the best anti virus software.
My best antivirus software is positionned between the keyboard and the chair :)
or maybe, Kaspersky can do the twist :)
I use AVG for everything. Light on the system, and not bloatware. :)
Norton antivirus software is the best for PC or device to prevent malware and viruses.
Most of them are good. Kaspersky, Symantec (Norton) and Bitdefender are usually the top three. If you trust that Kaspersky is not part of Putin's master plan, go for it. I will stick with Symantec.
Quick heal total security is the best antivirus for all windows version. It give protect to your device and remove all malware thread.
There are both free and paid antivirus in the market. For most of users, it’s not a necessity to deploy a premium antivirus on your home or personal computers. While in the case that you're running a business that requires an absolute safe environment, then a paid antivirus is a wise choice. check the lists of the best free and paid antivirus below:

"My best antivirus software is positioned between the keyboard and the chair" This.
Tried Avira for a while, parents use Avast - and we used on the family PC AVG for the longest time.
I just use Windows Defender and the built in firewall and run Brave as a browser now.
Being smart about what you do on the Internet is always step one, but nothing is 100%. Avast (Free version) should be good enough to handle the rest. Unfortunately their are people out there looking to trick us to get our data and or money.
Sandboxie and free anti-virus programs are a viable method
I haven't used Sandboxie in years. Was pretty good. Some of the Internet Security/AntiVirus programs have a sandboxed browser option.

Windows built-in virus and threat protection works fine for me.
Windows Defender is fine if you are smart, but it is not the best at detecting bad shit as (Symantec (Norton), Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Avast, ESET). Novice Internet users need better security.
I haven't used an antivirus or (outbound) firewall in forever, they aren't necessary if you have good security culture and practices. Of course, the average user doesn't.
The built-in stuff in Windows 8 and above seems good enough; when I have to reformat a computer with XP or 7 for a customer, I stick MSE on it (it still works and gets definition updates on XP if you use the POSReady registry tweak).
I've been using Bitdefender. No complaints.
Webroot is the software I use.
I am using Kaspersky. In my opinion, it is complete security solution, check out googling around

All of the top Anti-Virus programs are good. Every year they seem to swap which is the "best". Pick the one that has all the features you need/want.

The kasperkey is the best antivirus for PC
I've been using McAfee for two years now, and it's good. As far as I know there are very few differences between the really good AV software. Pricing and features made available for the pricing are where they differ. I'm happy with McAfee, though. It's easy on my RAM, and doesn't slow down other processes when it's running.
I used to use Avast before Win10 and thought it did a pretty good job.
