For the British list, Downton Abbey.

Blue Mountain State's final episode is among TV's best moments. It's a pity you have to grow into the characters throughout three seasons just to get to enjoy that last one. That's of course regardless of the fact that recurrent characters just stop showing up randomly between seasons (for real life reasons or for non-renewals without an explanation).

If you thought this year's premier of Sherlock was great - that's the kind of feeling you'll get from sitting through three seasons of BMS. It helps that there are consistent themes on an episodic basis like every episode has to have one incredibly hot girl.

Oh hawt girls are a premise. Someone should have said previously.
Plus only three seasons to catch up on is kindofa bonus. I'm sold.

Also, Mary. I'll get Idol to watch Louie if you watch The Vampire Diaries. It's got the hawtest of hawt girls and she's in it every week.
