A toss up between Shawshank Redemption and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
i suppose we better just agree to disagree
Scarface
Mafia-like course impress the mix between absolute brutality and morality ("Do not you ever try to fuck me!"). Very well implemented is also the downfall of Montana: An absolutely broken Pacino with a mountain of cocaine on the desk, in the background you can see on control monitors, as his villa is stormed ...
Godfather series :)
Fight Club :D
Pulp Fiction
As for recent movies, I watched "Rust & Bone" . It had a good story with realistic characters. As for my favorite of all time, "The Fifth Element". A quick moving storyline and just enough action.
The Godfather
Shawshank Redemption
Old Boy. The original Korean version.
Mad max 2 is pretty beast
Wall street.
That's the exact reaction I had to it, oddly enough. It's far from my favorite movie, but at the time I was watching it, I had a lot of stuff on my mind, I was procrastinating and needed to get up, but I kept watching it and dozing off, waking up, rewinding it a little, watching again, dozing off again, repeat. So the major element that stuck in my subconscious was the score, and I always felt this pensive emotion each time I woke up. It needs editing badly, and a lot of the screenplay didn't make sense pertaining to Joe Black's view of the world and not understanding some things, while immediately and intrinsically understanding others. This, despite his character saying something to the effect of "I've observed humanity since it began" and yet didn't know how to eat? Was it just learning how to coordinate fine motor skills? Kind of lazy writing.
But yes, the score... I really need to grab it somewhere and give it a listen, see if it conjures up any emotions or memories from that morning I watched it.
god father
gotta be the lord of the rings trilogy for me
I think they are all fine choices, but I believe a movie will be made soon that I might call my favorite.
(Many have come close... but none so far.) :alien:
Really hard to say I have a one favourite. One could be Inception. Although the original concept is actually based on an anime it was still very well executed.
My all time favorite would have to be "Backdraft" from the early 90's. Great story with humor, drama, and romance. Loved it.
The Fellowship of the Ring is the movie of the LOTR trilogy that touched me the most, so I'll go with that one. Lots and lots of other movies I really like, though.
Gladiator
X-Men and Avengers movies... What can I say... I'm a geek at heart... :D
Office Space!
My all-time favorite movie, as corny as it sounds, is Happy Gilmore. Don't know why, but it's probably the only movie that, when it's on, I will ALWAYS stop and watch. Close second is Office Space.
The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, although the first Star Wars trilogy runs it close.
The Matrix
in terms of triology LOTR,
the most shocking movie, and marking movie Schindlers List
suprising movie for me has Taken
Is it so bloody hard to understand that "movie" is singular which eliminates trilogies. Also all trilogies (except maybe Three Colours) contain in them films of widely varying quality so you can't group the movies together and have it mean anything.
PS Ffs.
PPS At least you didn't include Shawshank Redemption.
My favourite Movie has to be Skyfall
mine has to be goodfellas or if im watching with the other half cant beat stardust we like that one lol
Serious question.Have you suffered some tragic accident that has left you incapable of using punctuation and capitals or are you simply indifferent to coming off as a retard?
Such a subjective question with no right answer, but for me it has to be The Godfather.
Armagedon. Dont ask but that movie was awesome despite the shitty acting from the stellar cast. lol
my all time favourite movies is in telugu geethanjali
The Big Lebowski
feckin hate that word .......RETARD.... but then again i'm speaking as a parent of a child with special needs.....
