PM me after you watch it. There's enough in the show to discuss, but posted openly, would remove any reason to watch it.

Yes let us talk privately and make the forum superfluous like OlegL's penis.

Have you seen it? It could be half the length and accomplish the same thing.

Re: Favourite films to look forward to in 2014
It was the new X-men, but since it has already been released i'll say The Hobbit.

Re: Favourite films to look forward to in 2014
A watchable version of The Salvation has surfaced on IPT. It is cropped a bit, and did not want to restart after I paused it. It has hardcoded gibberish (non-English) and the gibberish-spoken parts don't have subtitles. However, it beats waiting eternally without a US release date.

Re: Favourite films to look forward to in 2014
I might give it a go even though it's been described as a "revenge Western " and Westerns sort of need to be morality tales to be true to the genre. That said I'm fine with it just as long as the hero doesn't eat anybody.
Also happy belated Birthday,homo.

After the video failed to continue after pausing, I decided to go to sleep last night. Have not finished it yet, but it's not Once Upon a Time material. You pretty much get the gist of his motivation early on. Bad guys pay. Eva Green has secks.
Off-topic b-day stuffs:
Spoiler:

Wasn't actually to excited about my birthday- no significant milestone; nothing planned. My wife, son, and myself have had a horrible cold/plague for the past week. Coincidentally, October 1st marked the 20th anniversary of our meeting (the day we typically celebrate since I took over a decade to do the official marriage thing :blushing: ). We "celebrated" by sharing a can of Progresso soup.* :yay: That said, after attending class wearing a germ mask (wish more people would do the same), I arrived home to some very excited kids who had helped mom make some cupcakes. TBH, their true celebratory spirits made for the happiest birthday I've had in many years.
Finagled an
Amazon Fire TV out of my annual avoidance of demise reward- which has exceeded my expectations.* Will be sideloading XBMC on it in the near future. Others who have done so seem to find it very capable. Right now, between Prime, Netflix, and Plex, (it plays casual games, too) I'm living room media satisfied  ...
* I'm not an entirely heartless cretin, we are setting aside a decent chunk of tax refund $$$ for jewelry to mark the occasion. :) The recent-ish purchase of the Canon 70D ate up current resources.
**I've had the device for about 3 weeks.

Re: Favourite films to look forward to in 2014
OK first clearly with all that Amazon Fire TV sideloading XBMC Prime, Netflix, and Plex I'm living room media satisfied bullshit you have obviously mistaken me for skiz in which case I am debating killing myself.I just need to settle on a suitably horrible way.
Other than that, as for your birthday stuff I would say that a wise man counts his blessings not his troubles or something equally sage I learned while studying to be a Shaolin priest.

May I suggest a woodchipper?

Off-topic stuffs better suited for a hardware fred...

Do you have access to Amazon services in fake Australia, Art? I know we've discussed my use of set-top devices, but this one outshines them all significantly.
XBMC on the Fire TV. Managed to get mine for $80 with student discount. Don't think a comparable silent device about the size of a square smartphone can be built for the same.

I would say " Anabelle "

Sure if you want flash over function.
If you had thought this through you would realize that though grisly,a woodchipper would likely kill you in a couple of seconds flat.Where is the agony in that?
I'm thinking based on initial tests ,that either diving face first into a large hill of mutant fire ants or suffering a particularly bad paper cut would be the way to go.

You said 'horrible' not 'agonising' which is all in the perspective. It is not really that horrible for you since you will be deceased, but it will be truly horrible for who ever discovers your corpse salsa spread all over the landscape/walls you get the picture.... And then there is the funeral arrangements..... no open coffin for you.
It really is horrible..... :yup:
It ticks all the boxes of your original inquiry :yup:

People will even have to be circumspect when talking about your untimely mincing death. Even common things like 'he went to pieces at the end' would be tacky in this situation....

I really like movies where they show you a possible other side of a classic version. They make you think
If you like this kind of movies, watch it and tell me what you think
I really enjoyed that movie as well for the same reasons :yup:
I also think that the effects were great! Effects-wise, my favorite was when Maleficent was casting her spell on the baby. That was stunning!
