no aquamark run link yet...?
I still don't know what exactly I have to link to. If you can search on Aquamark try "Mad Cat Mkii" (no quotes though).Quote:

go here and log in
then click on "view your submitted measurements in the ARC" and when your test comes up, click on "set this measurement to be public"
then click on "view" on the right hand side, and copy/paste the unique run id into this thread...
for instance, my run test would be:
http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_view.php?run=606576788
:)

Nice score. I am sure after you tweak your OS a bit you will get a much higher score. You see how nice that is?
Now we see your system spec analysis. :)
i'm very surprised that adam's system beats yours. he has a slight overclock on the graphics card as advantage but you do have 4 times as much ram as himQuote:

i suppose you/we will have to wait for optimised software to really see a difference... :)

I am sure the reason why my score is higher than his is because I have my OS stripped to the bone. I followed tweakhound guide and only have like 6 services running and 12 processes.
see this page
Oh, and 4th gen: any suggestions on good racing simulation games? I would really appreciate any advice you have. Happy new year! Man, I have known you for almost a year, and you have been one of the most helpful, kind, accurate folks on the board. Thanks for all your help so far! :)
nfsu and mc2...but i think u already play nfsu. I didnt do all of the system turnoff things on the os guide either...takes forever...and im fine with my system for now lol...nice system man
Just read the stuff on this page. I find it amazing how someone needs to post (well at least he does so because someone asks him too) some "proof" of something he got. And if that will get you a good "reputation", that's just dumb.
I was laughing a load in this thread, you all doubted, he proved, and then you all kissed ass :P
i never doubted and i never kissed ass :)Quote:

i just prefer the aquamark link because you can actually see what overclocks there are (if any)
I was just getting tired of the BS'ers around here; I was tired of reading their associated garbage posts, so I thought it was about time somebody tidied up around here and called them on their shit. I suspected that a few were honest, but not all of them.
Note how simple it is to take a screenshot. It does not take very much intelligence, you see. Also note how elaborate some member's avatars are as well (these folks obviously know how to use the internet, use benchmarking software utilities, upload screenshots).
But when it comes down to the wire, and some of these bufoons are called to defend their claim--(I am sorry you guys, it has nothing to do with repuations; it has to do with the mere fact that some people actually contrive total bullshit to spam on this forum; they fabricate systems they do not own, and they think we are as dumb as they are)--they realize they can't prove a lie. So the real issue is accountability. I personally respect people who know the value of proof. It is present in mathematics and physics more than any other field simply because the laws of nature are built upon several premises which must be stated before making any claim. Such as 1 is greater than zero, and if x is greater than 1, then x plus one is greater than one plus zero.
This is, as far as I know, a hardware forum, which is supposed to be a place to discuss hardware. Now, if we have a forum where the members somehow think that zero is greater than one, what kind of discussions do you anticipate we would have?
I think I have made my point.
QED. :)
well said :)Quote:

You are all too funny, my friend.
On binary, they just indicate on or offQuote:

And that's hardware-related ;)
I don't have any problem with you wanting me to prove it really, I'm just annoyed that you kept on saying it after I requested how to post an Aquamark link over and over.
DWk, wouldn't binary be software really?
I thought you would enjoy the Aquamark3 ARC. Is it not nice?Quote:

I said hardware-related. And if you don't know, you use binary in electronics ;)
and if you don't believe me...that IS hardware

No, its just that I didn't know exactly where to go into it to find a link exactly to my benchmark.
Binary is the method by which the processor processes data.........
Who thinks that isnt hardware?
No, its just that I didn't know exactly where to go into it to find a link exactly to my benchmark. [/b][/quote]Quote:

But you see the value of the tool, don't you?
