Im pretty sure it had to be a clean install, it was the first time i put the game on. Then i applied the patch 1.4, i even d/l the patch from their site and tried that after. Then i put the Speed cratch in the folder. Still didnt work :smilie4:Quote:

I can get the game to work, but, and theres always a but. when I 'go underground' certain races crash to windows. They start to load the level then crash out to the desktop. Any ideas?
I have tried various cracks, and different patches to no avail.
looks like i may have to downlaod it again or even worse go out and buy it :unsure:

However, you should download the latest drivers for your graphics card, sound card, etc.
And also you should check if your hardware/software is compatible with the game.

I got it from the verifieds if i remember correctly. Its on a new pc so the hardware is fine. I haven't updated the dfrivers yet so I'll check that first before i try any more cracks whilst I download another version.
Installed new drivers, still no change.
Try CD-Mage. Search the bins for corruption.

its as if they did all this because they are saving all this stuff for a part 2.
If they do, they better get their shit sorted because i havent ONCE been able to play this thing online and i have dowloaded all the required shit and opened the approriate ports for it.

Guess what, I have found a way to play in windowed mode.
Just download 3-D Analyze, a cool program you'll see.Start NFSU with 3-D Analyze and choose the option "Force Windowed Mode" and you'll play in windowed mode, of course :P
