Yeah, totally agree with you. Light, powerful cars, little or nothing in the way of driver aid.Quote:

Any model, they're all incredible.
Here's a must see Speed 12 video (if you haven't already seen it)[/b][/quote]

Cheers for that noob.. very cool clip. B)
A short McLaren F1 clip now. It's from the Japanese program "Best Motoring" and is a 0-1000m test with a run around the oval thrown in for good measure. The driver isn't too hot on the change from 2nd to 3rd (probably due to the gear lever being on the "wrong" side for him), but the car still hits the rev limiter in 5th (equivalent to 188mph) within 19 seconds. You can see the car squatting on the run, partly due to the very soft suspension on the F1 and partly due to the acceleration :o
Video
Another short video from Best Motoring. Two laps of Tsukuba circuit, one warm-up lap and one timed lap. Again, the pitching of the car is very evident, but the overall lap time is stunning. Let's see a Corvette/Mustang/Shelby beat that!
p.s. Remember that this is 'only' the standard F1, not the F1 LM. The LM is more powerful, lighter, more hardly sprung and slightly shorter geared. It can still hit 100mph in second gear though :P

I hope one day to be able to afford a Ferrari. I'm a Porsche fan at heart though

I love the GT3. It's so pure in comparison to the Turbo. You got any pics of it? :rolleyes:Quote:

Bugatti Veyron fastest and most expensive production car in the world.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, like. It flies. 'Nuff said.
Might be the most expensive but it ain't the fastest.
SSC Ultimate Aero is.
The Veyron can also go round corners though.
What, 2 or 3 mph faster means that much to you.
Me, I like Astons. Just because they are fucking gorgeous

I want one of these:

Under 200K US.
I'd take your Aston for other uses, JP.
Kinda like the 550 Maranello, too, for the same reasons.
Or down and dirty, and dare I say, almost even affordable

Nah if you want something in the more affordable range

Rollce Royce Phantom :D
I got a ride in one of those a few weeks ago.
It's as cool as you'd expect but oddly, not very dramatic.
Maybe that's a testament to how good it is or maybe just a statement of how boring a supercar can be at less than 150MPH.
Nice stereo system, though.
True story.
My dream car is Old Geezar's great-granddaughter.
I'd like to ride her.

ja.
I'd imagine the db4 gt zagato is the same, hawt but shite.
Then there's this:
