I'm on 56K dial up and can't seem to get anything from nsane's web site - all I get is a white screen and the word Done at the bottom status line.
Anyone else have this problem ?
I really want to get Limewire pro 4.2
Regards
Are you using a download manager? If so, try clicking on the link whilst holding down shift :)Quote:

are there any form of Tweaks/ or things you can tinker with LimeWire Pro to ummm 'improve' its overall performace? There might not be any but I thought I would ask asbefore i used Shareaza, and that had a few thigns you could set to imrpove it's performance.
Thanks
No, not really. Getting the Pro version is the only way to get the best out of LimeWire.Quote:

Same here. I'll wait til he updates his links. I'll PM nsane come to think of it.
I'll just stay put the next major update, this constant updating for a 56K user tends to get a bit annoying.
i'm getting hooked up with a wireless connection to my boys t1 so it won't be that way for long :)
all my links work here, so i don't know what up
okay where can a find Limewire without the spyware?
the pro version should be spyware free
Neither version of Limewire (Pro and regular) has spyware. The regular version just has an ad or something (Don't ask me, I've never used it) The Pro version has no ads or anything.Quote:

do you would know that winmx has an tiny IE window in the UI that "phones home" and tells them when youre using winmx and how long its running, since it refreshes all the time winmx is running.
im talking about the regulur limewire and winmx has no spyware or ads at all
yeah im talking about regular limewire too.
but i can't argue with a closed mind.
Well no they're not. This argument has ended, you've lost, give it a break. :dry:Quote:

j/k, dont take that seriously
i won u guys lost ;)
I decided to un-install LW Pro, and re-installed LW Basic (aka: regular) 4.2.6. Then I ran Adaware which did not detect any spyware, so...no, you did not win this argument.Quote:

No where in the above definitions do I see anything about banners. Face it Nate, you've been proved WRONG.Quote:
