After

its kinda hard to tell how messy it was in the first picture, but it was real messy now its clean and my CPU runs cooler because there isnt a huge bundle of wires in front of the fan :)
Well done Twister,
In fact you just ispired me to check my CPU wires, who knows, I might be able to do something too.
What I find is that all those IEEE and USB "cards" for the back of the case that plug into the motherboard are unneeded...I think 4 should usualllly be enough lol..so I dont install those and it makes it look a lot cleaner.
Those speakers are obviously very cheap and sound bad. As for my mouse: I have an MX1000. So yea. It is pretty special.Quote:

Why do you even try to debate the fact that your small, cleap looking speakers can give out the same sound quality as a 7.1 digital surround sound speakers with an subwoofer and other high priced audio devices?
My speakers are of medium size but they cost me quite a bit, don't look cheap and plastic like, they also have a subwoofer, bass controller as well as volume and a few other nice features.
Why would you debate it. Leave him alone. If he likes his speakers then that's all that matters. You aren't the one listening to them.Quote:

Peerzy. How would you like it if you post your "equipment" and we pick on you about how small it is. :whistling
preezy the point is that i dont need a new speaker when i can hear what i want to hear on my current speakers, and why should i buy a bigger functional speakers and am not much in music and i dont care about better quality, all i want to hear is windows error and games sounds. mybe u waste ur money to showoff but am not that kinda of person, u can call me cheap but when u start to get money on ur own and u wont get ur stuffs from christmass presents anymo u will understand the money value.
Trust me i understand the value of money well enough right now. I never said you should buy bigger speakers just wondered why your entire setup looked rather like a very old Pentium 1 that someone twice your age would run (steriotypical but shoot me)
@Vb - where did i 'bully' him, i simply asked how he could stand such an eye sour of a pc and speakers and so on, if he likes shyte quality thats up to him, all i debated was the fact that he said Big speakers are always loud and he has small speakers so the volume isnt so loud :wtf:
My equipment doesn't look amazing either, i have a nice keyboard and mouse, my speakers are nice enough and do there jobs, the case is that of an Advent 3519 so isnt amazing, infact i have a really nice spare case that iv been meaning to move over to, but havnt had the time recently.
when the feck i said that, i ment big speakrs r for thoes who need higher volume which i dont need so there is no reason why i should buy them.Quote:

That's enough...cos I really can't be arsed to pm everyone....
If you don't behave, I will call on manker to disembowel your discourse.... :whistling
back on topic.....
My system is not worth posting a pic of as it is a Dell Dimension 4550 (with a few extra bits and pieces, I have a boring monitor and tiny (but loud) speakers.
that is all... :)

This is just to placate sara, really but...
There's a steering-wheel and a joystick on the bottom shelf, a subwoofer for the speakers, and an amplifier for teh 5.1 sound headphones (which are hanging next to the keyboard).
The thing on the mousepad that looks like teh ladies might like it is actually an ergonomic mouse, and the thing right above it is a trackball.
The speakers might look small, but the wattage is decent enough to work when I'm not wearing the headphones.
The monitor is an old compaq that's going to go just as soon as I buy this Hyundai CRT I've been looking at.
The cabling is a bit messy ATM, but it's only a temporary thing.
Sorry about the quality, the camera is a bit dodgy, and the lighting is crap. (It's pitch black outside.)
the fan is really quiet... so no problem
I somehow doubt that.Quote:

I lost the pic i had for it :(
Im sure that there are fans louder than that designed to go into the comuter.
Say for instance, a 92MM Vantec Tornado?
Ty. :01: It better be good after I paid over a grand for it. :(Quote:

Airflow effeciency is most important when it comes to air cooling. Having 10 case fans will do nothing without the proper airflow. Incoming and outgoing airflows have to be equal, preferably with incoming from the bottom and outgoing somewhere on top. (Heat rises, blah blah...)

Of course, not all configurations are the same. I'm simply stating what is the ideal setup.. what you should try to model your setup after. I'm pretty sure most people will agree with me on this.
I'm really not trying to be a jerk about this, but I have spent a lot of time designing and testing cooling solutions for a variety of different PCs and have yet to discover a "universally agreed upon" layout much less an "ideal" one.
OK, I am being a jerk, but there you go.
No, you're not being a jerk. You are polite and courteous in your responses. You've been around in this forum long enough to know the REAL jerks in this place. :)
Well thank you.Quote:
