The First 3 seasons of Alias was pretty good. Full of suspense, action, and Jennifer Garner's sexy bod. Unfortunately, the 2nd to the last and final seasons were full of Rambaldi crap. But still in my opinion, Alias was one of the best action TV series ever.

Dexter (Showtime) - Awesome premise and storyline. Acting is also top notch IMO.
The Wire (HBO) - Greatest cop drama I've ever watched.
Heroes (Network) - This show gets ridiculous amounts of praise, but it's still pretty good... If overrated.
Jericho (Network) - Post apocalyptic shenanigans!
