My favorite book is A beautiful Mind. It is based upon the true story of a great mathematician Joan Nash. This book is really inspirational.

I don't know if these are the best I've read so far, but they sure are excellent books.

It's not my best, but it's a series that I'm going through right now with much enjoyment.
Nightside Series by Simon R Green (Fantasy genre). The 12th book of the series is due for release this winter (hopefully). The first book was barely passable, and thankfully I kept reading (on book 6 atm). It's easy to read, funny at moments, creepy in others and generally a relaxing read.
