How does the Victoria Secret model have more dignity?
They don't count. (although people do buy Victoria Secret's underwear)
Proper models may at some point model underwear; they will probably have to look sexy. I doubt Vida does much modelling other than the barely-existent underwear+suggestive pose modelling. A real model modelling underwear will also try and aim the add at women, who are the consumers. In these circumstances the underwear will be the main feature, not the girl's body.

A person *blankblank* their naked body in an art class is not a model according to your definition.
That's a different sort of model and what they do is providing contribution, they are the subjects of artwork. Art is respectable. Girls with fake tits in suggestive poses are giving men the chance for a wank. I suppose that's a contribution but it's not respectable.
I doubt whether SGG finds a person respectable figures into the word model.
So what if Vida wore more clothes...would she be modeling? Or are back to that intention thing...is she trying to sell the clothes?
She certainly would be more respectable since she isn't scantilly dressed.

Dir en grey said the visuals (the costumes, videos, album design) are what music is presented on. It's like serving food on a decorative plate. The music is still more important to them; the visuals just make it more enjoyable.

If her intentions were to model the cloths and not just to turn guys on then yes, I would find her more respectable. As her intentions (by the look on her face I don't know if her brain is functioning well enough to have any) are just to show off her body, to me, she is a waste of space.
The same would apply to male models I could find attractive. I would be able to appreciate their appearance but only for a short time and on a low-level because I can't be attracted, even just physically, to a person with no deeper substance or talent.

The problem is what you find respectable means nothing when describing what they do.
You said that women in Victoria's Secret don't count.
That makes no sense. Intent makes no sense when considering what is modeling.
If one of your androgynous Yokos were in mag photos, wtf would you say he's doing?
