I generally ignore most threads in here. It's quite easy, I just scroll past them and move along. The same can be said for posts I don't care for. If I do happen to be offended by anything posted, then it's my own tough shite for posting personal details about myself in a public forum. Maybe the noobs will be grateful in years to come that the lounge has introduced them to different forms of humour. It may even incourage them to grow a harder skin, and get on with life.

The reason for my tardiness?
I did try avoiding this thread for ages, but it just wont die.
I guess I just dont give a feck about how other people perceive the lounge.
I've never felt the need to report anyone in here, and unless they post something that has a direct impact on my personal life, I never shall.

D'ya know what makes me giggle? The fact we have a harrassment/stalking sticky post at the top of the page, that can't be posted in. So instead of informing the community of how they feel and resolving problems in-house, the big girlies have to pm a mod to stop the pigtail pulling. oh yeah...they could always report the offender/s in a section, which again, isn't open for public viewing. How are we meant to know who the sensitive members are, if it's all hidden away?

I don't have a problem with any of the mods as posters, in fact it would be great to see more contribute in here. Although, imo, they only seem to turn up when a thread needs closed, or to generally flex a bit of authority by removing pics. Of course, I don't include you in that group Sara, and quite honestly don't understand why you would want to be a mod. You're a fine member, and don't seem to enjoy having to tell others off for petty word crimes.

Maybe if the rest of the team posted more, they wouldn't just be viewed as power hungry egotards.. :mellow:

More seriously, but no more coherently, I'm intermittently offended by posts in forums. Not just here, and, to be honest, this board is really very tame (that's not the word I'm wanting but....heh...) with regards to offensivness. If I am offended (not personally-directed, just as a random post passing by), a good 99% of the time I'll ignore it. I know what my buttons are. :P The other 1% of the time I'll have it out with someone, but I've never done that here. As for the "hidden awayness," it's entirely possible that people don't want to be singled out as the crybaby/pussy/whateverdescriptor in front of the entire board. They've always the option to start a thread to tell people to sod off or to PM specific people if they want to work it out amoungst themselves.
