Re: What is the latest movie you watched and what did you think of it?
Despicable Me (2010) - Cute at times. But lacks a lol factor.Even the kids were getting a little uninterested by the time the movie was over. Not bad, Just not good.Five out of ten.

Calling me late teens early twenties is both a insult and a compliment . As for initiating "flame wars" , I don't . I have "lively discussions " and a bit of fun with rarely any bad intent.Just an exercise in creative writing and attempting to get people to think a bit really.
Oh course I don't really honestly know what flame wars means so maybe I in fact do.
Btw I'd tell you my age if you really want to know but this being the internet and the fact of the matter being that I could be a 12 year old Asian boy or a thrice divorced 47 year old Black woman from Kanas City and still tell you that I'm a SWM of 31 from Ontario ,I don't really see the point.
Re: What is the latest movie you watched and what did you think of it?
Going against the grain because it makes creative writing...yeah thats flaming.
Re: What is the latest movie you watched and what did you think of it?
Cool, then I take it that you are also a bit of a "against the grain " sort of person since everyone that I've talked to seems to refer to you as being quite the flamer.
Jocularity .

You will get no creative writing from me buster:/

Today I had the 'job' of sitting through 1:25:55 of "Mr. Bean's Holiday with subtitles. I think Rowan Atkinson is a genius but when it comes to feature films I'm ashamed to watch him.
Richard Curtis should be ashamed of himself also, after the Blackadder series especially Blackadder Goes Forth (Army Years) and the Mr Bean series how can he write such dribble?
My whole reaction to the movie was this:

I didn't quite notice this but I believe Curtis is out of ideas. After watching some of the classic British sitcoms most of the amusing scenes were sourced from other sitcoms.

Sounds vaguely familiar to an episode of Fawlty Towers called "Zee Germans"

Dear Zachary (2009).
This is a documentary and that's about all I can tell you about it without ruining the experience.
[disclaimer] My friend j2 recommended this movie and I'm thankful he didn't tell me what it was about beforehand...[/disclaimer]
This was an almost perfect viewing experience in the sense I had no prior knowledge of the events and the film takes some wildly unexpected turns.
In other words, I had no idea what was going to happen next and was thrilled by the ride.
It's so unusual to see a film that doesn't telegraph it's punches and catches you by surprise.
The film is also surprisingly sweet, given the subject matter.
I know this an odd and uniformative "review" but I can't see any way of being specific without lessening the impact (which I found considerable).
Watch it.

Open Season 2
I'm not really a fan of animated comedy but I was impressed with Open Season 2. The objects were nothing special especially on the deer "Giselle"

Very great under rated kids comedy.

Did you enjoy the film nails? Who played Rodger? For some reason it reminded me or Johnny Depp .
Going to watch tonight:
- High Life (2009)
- Legend of the Guardians (2010)
- Tim Burton's Frankenweenie (1984)
- Going the Distance (2010)
Need some more films that are worth watching. None of these supposed 'teen comedies'.
