That was Michael Bay's pitch, IIRC.
I believe the concept was reworked and later emerged as the Jackass series.

Recently i watched tangled :P was good and i liked it :)

PPS I watched Legendary becasue it was on and reading the credits I confused Jon Seda with John Cena .
Still it wasn't half bad until near the end when it's produced by the WWE ancestry came to the fore and it degenerated into a putrid mass of poo.

If you like wrestling or movies in general watch Vision Quest instead .
