You could have made an example of an existing rule:
"Busyman has a 150kb .gif of a dancing butt-pirate in his sig - that's against the rules'
However, it still doesn't answer the question. Giving an example of dry-snitching isn't defining it.
Agreed. I was trying to go round the houses.

I think that if I complained to the mods to get Bustyboy banned for his over-sized sig then that counts as dry-snitching. For some reason the mods all listen to me and do my bidding.
Damn, if I knew I had such powers I'd have abused them long ago. :balamm:
No that's just plain old snitching.

To indirectly tell secrets or offenses to a person of authority or any person meant to be kept away from a secret or offense, sometimes inadvertently.
If the telling of secrets or offenses is purposeful, minute details are usually left out as not to appear to be directly telling.
It is indirectly snitching.
Re: Raw On USA Towmorro!!!
Oh that, I do that all the time.
Re: Raw On USA Towmorro!!!
Meh.
Prefixing something with 'dry' implies that the following word isn't diluted in any way - meaning a purer form of the suffix.
Therefore dry-snitching should be a more explicit version of snitching (which is generic and could mean an overt or an indirect snitch).
Dry-snitching should not be surreptitious in any way :snooty:

Meh?
Dry snitching, in itself, isn't clandestine due to the possibility of it being inadvertent.
It is 'dry' simply because of it being devoid of certain details or proper addressee. :snooty: It is the simplest, most effortless way to snitch.

Of course not. You say that after you come back from a search party.
How'd it go?
