You can trawl thro' the posts if you like, but you're not a mod so cannot judge what is spam and what is not. Any and all posts that are not deleted have been deemed, by implication, by the mod team not to be spam.

Most of the onus is on the posters themselves... it's almost as if they know nothing will be done about it, thus start spamming away. This forum really has gone downhill. Long gone are the days of constructive posting, to be overtaken by mindless drivel about
i have more posts than snny. I guess some people get turned on or excited by the strangest things.
So, not only are you attacking the people who post in the lounge but you've started on the moderating team for not keeping the forum free from posts that you don't like. Nice.
It takes me an hour or so to read the back posts in the lounge, I do it while smoking a cigarette and having a coffee in the morning before I start work - there are about 10 individuals in the mod team, I'm quite sure that at least one of them reads each message posted in the lounge. It doesn't take five years. If there was a message deemed as spam, one of them would remove it.
If this forum is so bad, why do you keep posting on it. I seem to recall you took a break from the forum recently for about 3 months (was it?) - maybe another is due until we can meet your lofty ideals.
No-one noticed the last time you left, anyhow.

I'm not saying that post count is important.
I'm saying it means something just in the way that it's a calculation of the number of posts you have. That's all.
The whole reason i did the recount is that I wanted all post counts to be ACURATE. Otherwise it isn't a post count, is it?

I like the idea lounge posts count again , its good for new members as I said I don't pay much attention to them but........ noticed I'm 4 away from 5000. that can't be right ! :huh:

When I first came here there was this focus on KL and filesharing. Now it is something else.
It is not insulting to say to that the Lounge is full of spamming mindless BS. It is.
However it is allowed and it is The Lounge ffs.
Whether I deem it entertaining for others is not for me to decide. Someone gets enjoyment out of it and it may be the whole of their life. :sick: I get some enjoyment from it myself but I'm not really into chatting about nothing as much as others but oh well.
My personal opinion: zap, STFU it's not a real fucking star. :ermm:
