You can not go wrong with a good action war book. CATCH 22

I read all of the above but I'd say that sci-fi and fantasy make up the bulk of my collection.

Best war book i've read is Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose.

I've also read most of Andy McNabs books (the retired SAS chap)

i have seen the movie catch 22 so i dont need to read the book.

i saw the tv-series &#39;band of brothers&#39; so i do not need to read that either&#33;&#33;

Yeah but the book is more often than not better than the film, I find.

:angry: <_< READ it makes you seem smarter atleast. It also helps with your writing.

For those who read Catch 22, you should read Something Happened. It&#39;s the sequel, which was written many years later, and stars most of the main characters in their retirement years. Wonderful book - imagine Yossarian with denture and diapers - anyway, it&#39;s just as good IMHO, and perhaps a little more tongue-in-cheek (if that&#39;s possible).
