Which ones?

Are they combat boots?

Can someone explain what you wear with teh combat boots besides army fatigues or ninja suits?

Jeans or cargo trousers.

What I think of as the classic ones look something like this:

But nowadays there are lots of models to choose from, depending on what you need them for.

i always got red wings for construction, if your using them for anything else, they would look stupid or gay.
lowa's are great boots, but in the united states military--they give you the cheapest, most uncomfortable boots, ever made.
it would suck if the german military has better boots than the united states.

I think the point if stop caring what others think. If you like em, get em.

Docs are great for the Scottish weather. Particularly the snow, where they keep your tootsies dry and warm. They are also comfortable to wear, for a boot.
