Compaq 28.8 PCMCIA Fax Modem. (dead :angry: ) So i connected an external 28.8 modem to the serial port. o:)
It came with MS-DOS 6, Microsoft Windows 3.1, Lotus Organizer, TabWorks, Compaq Learning Center. But I have updated it to Windows 95B and office 97.
It was bit tricky to updrade to windows 95 and such as there is no CDROM drive. I had to transfer the setup files (cab files) though a laplink cable connecter to my Pentium 133 at the time.
This laptop was given to me from someone who had asked me to help him upgrade his 486DX2 66mhz desktop PC. :lol:
The hinge that is supposed to hold the screen at an angle no longer holds anything. I need a large book behind it to hold it up.
I also have an Atari 800 PC with 48k ram that still works but I cant post with that one. :( :lol: :ermm:
